O’Connor Company is proud to be a partner and participant in the 2025 National Safe + Sound event. This year, our focus is on strengthening our commitment to fall protection competency. Falls from heights of 6 to 30 feet remain the leading cause of fatalities in the construction industry. We believe that with the right knowledge and shared responsibility, these incidents can be prevented.
In support of the event, the O’Connor team is taking time each day to provide safety training opportunities for all employees—from administrative staff to field operations. These sessions cover key topics such as fall elimination, protection and guarding, the benefits of restraint over arrest systems, the importance of inspection, rescue planning, and safe practices for managing leading edges when the hierarchy of controls is not feasible.
By ensuring all workers understand safety expectations, we are fostering a culture where everyone takes responsibility for protecting themselves and their colleagues, while applying best practices on every job site.
