Rebecca Ciganek serves as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at O’Connor Company, bringing over 2 decades of experience in safety leadership across a variety of industries, including heavy civil and residential construction. A former first responder and public safety educator, Rebecca brings a profound understanding of how workplace injuries impact not only individual workers, but entire teams and organizations.
Rebecca has led both regional and national safety programs built on a foundation of collaboration, clear communication, and accountability, principles that foster strong safety cultures and produce measurable outcomes. She is an OSHA 500 Authorized Trainer, a JLG Certified MEWP Trainer, and a nationally recognized fire and life safety educator.
Over the course of her career, Rebecca has successfully reduced incident rates and injury-related costs through proactive risk management and field-centered engagement. She is also known for creating effective Return-to-Work programs and delivering hands-on training that resonates with workers at all levels—from field crews to executive leadership.
